Petrol injection circuit
Injection has replaced the carburetor on gasoline engines for some time now. Much more precise for metering the fuel, it allows better control of combustion (wealth) and therefore the consumption of an engine. In addition, the fact of being able to send the fuel under pressure makes it possible to spray it better in the intake (indirect injection) or the combustion chamber (droplets all the finer as there is pressure). Finally, injection is essential in diesel engines, and that is why the injection pump was invented by the man who had the idea: Rudolf Diesel.
It will therefore be necessary to distinguish between direct injection and indirect injection, just as it is also necessary to distinguish single-point and multi-point injection or even passive mechanical and active electrical injection.
