Why does the car vibrate when the brakes are pressed while drivin

Car owners face many driving problems during the period of their ownership of the car, and the most famous of these problems is the vibration of the car, which may appear due to several reasons, all of which may lead to vibration in the steering wheel and cause discomfort to the driver. One of the most noticeable times when this shake is during braking, which can be caused by factors related to the brakes or other systems in the car.

The main reason for the car's vibration during braking is due to the consumption of the discs, which make them thin. Consequently, this leads to a rise in its temperature to the point that it may lose its center of balance and become uneven. And when you press the brakes, the discs rotate between the tires in an uneven manner, which may lead to a tremor that can be felt in the steering wheel. To solve this problem, it is preferable to change the discs with new ones. But discs can sometimes be scraped if they are still thick enough to do so. It should be noted that the discs must be changed on the right and left at the same time, and not to change only one side.

In the same vein, used tires can also cause a shiver, but it is not the main cause. However, thin tires can make the tremor more intense. In this case, it is preferable first to change the discs or abrasive them, then change the tires.

other reasons

There are other causes of car shaking that cannot be felt during or without braking. The reason could be that the wheel bolts are not tightened in the correct way, or problems with the car axles that are full of rotating parts that come with specific measurements in order to perform their function perfectly.

But if the axis of rotation bent due to a collision, for example, this may lead to the vibration of the steering wheel of the car, noting that this vibration increases with increasing speed and strong braking.

Also, one of the wheels may suffer from unbalance and vibration. This causes the steering wheel to vibrate while driving and braking. This problem is often solved by performing the wheel alignment process in a specialized maintenance center.

But if you notice the appearance of balloons on the wheels of the car, whether from the inside or outside, then you must change the wheels immediately to maintain driving safety and get rid of vibration at the same time.
